Rule 53
Promotion to the post of Inspector General of Armed Police
: Regardless of what is written in Rule 43, when promoting to the post of Inspector General of Armed Police, the Government of Nepal will promote the candidate deemed suitable on the basis of seniority and efficiency from among the Inspector General of Armed Police. Explanation: For the purposes of this rule, "Efficiency" means leadership ability, financial discipline, managerial and creative ability and the ability to encourage and mobilize the armed police personnel below him.
